Sales Account Manager

Description

Innovative and thriving technology company based in Liverpool seeks a sales and account manager to take on responsibility for new and existing customer management. A stable and secure company but with start-up feel, we’re looking to grow rapidly and are on the hunt for like-minded individuals who are passionate about what they do and pushing their career on to the next level.

The role

An exciting opportunity to get involved at all levels of the account management and sales functions of our business. We have a broad customer base ranging from small businesses up to large 6 figure household names looking to replace their whole mobile services platform. The role is an opportunity for someone junior to grow and mould their career on a fast track.

Account Manager responsibilities

New clients
  • Helping to turn warm leads into potential new customers (no cold calling required).
  • Using CRM systems to develop sales opportunities.
  • Liaise with technical consultants to help close complex deals.
  • Managing inbound calls and enquiries.
Existing customers
  • Account management of key customers to enrich relationship, improve retention and to help increase customer satisfaction.
  • Working with marketing in order to better understand and support existing customer requirements.
  • Communicating with customers to better understand their demands and future needs
  • Focal feedback point from key customers into the business.
Strategic/management
  • Opportunity to work at a higher strategic level, inputting directly to MD and company management.
  • Assisting with CRM systems and helping to define CRM processes and solutions as we grow.
  • Responsible for reporting and updating business with key sales activity.
  • Generating and executing new ideas for the sales and customer retention process.

Account Manager Requirements

The right type of person will flourish in this role, like a start-up environment and will be comfortable being expected to generate ideas and start new things.
  • Approximately 2 years experience in an account management capacity.
  • Proven communication skills, expected to use phone, email, social media proficiently.
  • Able to communicate at different levels.
  • Understanding CRM systems is a benefit.
  • Looking for an opportunity to stretch their wings and grow themselves rapidly.
In return you will get lots of responsibility, lots of autonomy to carry out your role but you’ll still work closely with the MD who will listen and support your role.
